The 2016 Restaurant Month is upon us and with so many great offers out there this year it can be tricky to know which of the many amazing Auckland spots to choose.
The JH workroom girls share their picks to help you decide...

If you have never had the pleasure of dining at Clooney restaurant, now is the perfect time. For $80 per person you can indulge in a 7 course vegetarian dinner with the option of either wine or non-wine pairings. The menu includes silken buffalo curd with ginger, gnudi with sweet & sour carrot, rye with shiitake & sweetcorn and burnt buffalo milk with Valhrona. Production Manager Sarah can't stop raving about the menu, her favourite dish being the  burnt buffalo milk with Valhrona.


City Works Depot
Available until 31st August

Odettes is a go-to here in the JH workroom and for $40 per person you can enjoy a 4 course dinner. Our lovely friend Poi will no doubt be wearing the latest JH and a beautiful bright lip. The menu includes beef cheek bun with sweet and sour cherry, butternut arancini with silverbeet & chermoula, Hawke's Bay lamb leg with gingered yoghurt and nut caramel with dark chocolate crème fraîche. Need we say more?

Ebisu never disappoints! For only $55 for a 4 course dinner there is no better time to enjoy the beautiful combination of classic Japanese and modern European style share plates. Options include Angus beef tataki with black truffle, free range karaage chicken and miso glazed warehou. Even better still, there is a 4 course vegetarian menu on offer for $40 per person - options include miso glazed eggplant, mixed vegetable tempura and yuzu sorbet.

On these lovely sunny days we can't resist a leisurely lunch at Ortolana's urban oasis. Retail Manager Tory loves to pop across whenever she is in Britomart for a coffee or aget work drink. For just $25 enjoy a 2 course lunch or dinner until 31st August. The menu includes beef short rib with agnolotti & mustard, organic chicken cotoletta with lemon & kale and your choice of gelato on a stick. You can thank us later!
