Welcome to our online VIP Pre Order Preview. We are excited to offer you, for the first time, the opportunity to Pre Order pieces from our new SS2020 collection. While I had hoped to be sharing this with you in person at an event in our workroom, we are still excited to be able to connect with you here online and introduce you to the new collection. 

Our beautiful campaign imagery this season was shot by Tokyo based Spanish photographer Marta Rubio. We had decided to shoot in Tokyo in the early design stages of the collection, and having this destination in mind certainly informed our fabric and silhouette choices and worked beautifully as a backdrop to our print designs. Visiting new places and time spent in the natural world are when I feel my most inspired, and I love the way that this collection references these elements through fabric, palette, print and as the backdrop of our seasonal campaign. While we weren’t able to visit Tokyo as planned, it was such a privilege to be able to trust Marta to capture the collection through her lens and speak the brand back to us.

A beautiful and cohesive collection full of must-have pieces as JH classics are worked in effortlessly with fresh shapes, colours and details to bring a sense of quiet luxury and a subtle statement for the season ahead. 

A palette of crisp black and white features strongly alongside warm neutrals, pop-brights and fresh soft pastel tones. Textural highlights of tweed and matte drape suiting complement the ease and softness of the usual stable of natural silks, cottons, linen, and merino and seasonal print standouts - Floral Garden, Lotus Silk & Fan Silk.  

On discovering local NZ artist Carmel Van der Hoeven’s large scale floral paintings in an Auckland gallery, Juliette imagined how beautiful these would be translated onto cloth. The resulting Floral Garden collaboration beautifully marries Carmel’s expressive painting style with the Juliette Hogan seasonal palette and is available on a Viscose Silk base and the popular cotton knit Micky T. 

The monochromatic Fan Silk created by in-house print designer Louise Cuckow features bold graphic brushstrokes in black ink lending a subtle nod to the backdrop of our seasonal campaign shot in Japan by Tokyo based, Spanish photographer Marta Rubio.  

The Spring Summer 2020 collection from Juliette Hogan delivers the simple sophistication and everyday luxury synonymous with the designer – easy neutral tones, natural fabrications, emotive signature prints, and elegant and enduring silhouettes.
