A Night of Conversation and Connection at Craggy Range

On Friday evening, Juliette gathered with more than 100 women at The Lodge at Craggy Range for a conversation about building careers with purpose across fashion, wine and business.

Where the JH x Craggy Range long lunch in February was about slowing down around the table, this evening asked something different of the room: to listen, and find the common threads between very different paths.

Juliette joined Mary-Jeanne (MJ) Peabody, director at Craggy Range, and Craggy Range winemaker Jordyn Harper, for a panel discussion moderated by Fiona Fraser, chair of the Heretaunga Women's Centre.

Around the conversation, guests moved through The Lodge with roving canapés from Chef Casey McDonald and Craggy Range wines, including a selection of special bottles poured only for the evening - including a taste of Jordyn's trial white blend, the first female-led wine project bottled at Craggy Range.

It was a room of new faces and familiar ones, including our wonderful Hawke's Bay stockists. Bringing women together like this has always been an important part of what we do at JH - we know that the conversations that start over a glass of wine often carry on long after.

The evening also supported the Heretaunga Women's Centre, whose work supports women and families across Hawke's Bay through advocacy, education and practical support. A silent auction featured prizes and experiences donated by Juliette Hogan, Craggy Range and other local businesses.

Together, we raised $10,000 for the Centre. Thank you to everyone who donated a prize and to everyone who bid. If you would like to support their work directly, you can here.

Our thanks to MJ for hosting, Jordyn and Fiona for such an engaging discussion, Casey and the Craggy Range team for a seamless evening, and to everyone who joined us at The Lodge. We look forward to the next one.
