About Juliette Hogan

Everyday Luxury and Simple Sophistication

Juliette Hogan creates clothing suffused with elegance and ease. Each season brings a fresh, succinct and cohesive offering full of pieces to fall in love with. This is not a collection driven by trends, but more of an ongoing evolution of Juliette’s strong design perspective.

Juliette demonstrates an intelligent understanding of colour and texture. Natural fabrics (silk, cotton, linen, New Zealand merino and wool) in a palette of neutral tones form the staples of each collection, and are lifted with highly anticipated signature prints

Juliette takes what would be wardrobe basics, and elevates them with refined detail and expert tailoring, demonstrating her mastery of the subtle statement – as sometimes it is simplicity that’s hardest to achieve.

Juliette established her eponymous brand in 2004 after completing her studies in fashion and textile design at Parsons School of Design in NYC. Opening her first store in Ponsonby, Auckland in 2007, Juliette has quietly driven the brand to where it sits today as one of New Zealand’s most successful boutique designers with five NZ stores and multiple stockists throughout the country. Juliette lives with her husband Dion and daughter's Myra + Daisie in Mt Albert, Auckland.

The Juliette Hogan stores are an important expression of the brand. Each fit-out has been keenly overseen by Juliette herself, using local NZ designers and artisans to produce bespoke fixtures and fittings enhancing our luxurious in-store experience. Our stores are also the home to our retail staff who always aim to go above and beyond to deliver the best service to our clients. Discover more about our stores here.

Juliette works with a small and dedicated team in her Morningside workroom to produce five collections each year that are tied harmoniously to real seasonal change. In addition to these collections, the brand has a further lifestyle offering including JH Denim, JH Down and JH Lounge.

At Juliette Hogan, we design clothing to last. Where possible, we produce our clothing here in New Zealand working closely with local fabric suppliers, cutters and makers to bring our creations to life. We are proud of the relationships we have developed over the years within our local industry and these are so integral to the ongoing success of our business.

A small number of specialty pieces from the Juliette Hogan offering are also made with global suppliers: our jeans are made in China from Japanese denim, and our cashmere and merino pieces are currently made both here in New Zealand and off shore at a small family run factory in China. We are mindful with our manufacturers and aim to work with integrity and honesty at all times.
