A few of you have asked how we made the beautiful fringing for our NZ Fashion Week show - so Juliette sat down to walk you through it.

It started with a technique used throughout our collections: binding. The same detail you'll find on a neckline or a drawstring tie, taken much further - metres and metres of it, cut, folded, stitched and pressed by hand, piece by piece, until it became something else entirely.

It was a labour of love from so many people across the business, including Juliette herself, creative lead Alice Feutz, sample room manager Morgan Hollis-Ward and skilled in-house sample machinists Lily Li and Shirley Wu. Every length was made on the sewing machine, trimmed by hand, and fitted to the garment one piece at a time.
