I am pleased to be able to share our second Sustainability Progress Report with you. This report has been created to help provide an insight into the work we have done, and to highlight the ups and downs as we progress our sustainability strategy.
Recent weather events in New Zealand have certainly made the climate crisis feel that much more real to all of us, reinforcing the need to keep sustainability and the environment at the forefront of our decision making.
While I am proud of what we have achieved as a team, I am also aware that there is still so much to do, and in increasingly challenging conditions - both environmentally and economically. However, these challenges also present us with valuable opportunities to evaluate and reset our practices to align with our commitment to a more sustainable future. As a business our purpose is 'to create a positive impact through meaningful design' and this includes driving meaningful change.
Every function within the JH business has played a part in bringing this report to life - from finance to marketing, production, design, sampling, retail & operations with special thanks to our Projects & Sustainability Manager, Margeaux Frizelle who has worked so hard to bring it all together.
