The last couple of years have brought about many new challenges and opportunities. They have been a real time of growth and learning for me personally and the business, and have given us the opportunity to look at those bigger picture projects. Looking back at all we accomplished despite the challenges, I feel truly grateful that it enabled more focus on our sustainability journey, and with this, the formalisation and launch of our Sustainability Strategy in 2020.
This strategy set out a transparent breakdown of what we as a business value and want to improve in the way of sustainability across the objectives of product, people, prosperity and the planet. To me, operating a sustainable and responsible fashion business is more than simply making decisions to minimise or offset our environmental impact, and sustainability is no longer a 'nice-to-have' but an essential. Sustainability is however, a journey, that will be ever-evolving with new learnings to be made, and challenges to be faced.
I am extremely proud of my team for their work on our sustainability journey from 2020 to now, with plans in action and achievements starting to occur. This is why two years after setting out our strategy, I am excited to share our first Sustainability Progress Report, with you, our Juliette Hogan community.
This report is a way to understand the brand and business in an in-depth and transparent setting, that shares how Juliette Hogan is committed to this essential part of the business and its community.
